Hendrik Ockenga in Charge of Recaro Group Communications

The 39-year-old’s responsibilities include the strategic development of group communications, management of the holding company’s internal and external communications, and the provision of advice and assistance to the independent divisions that make up the group. The Recaro Group comprises the companies Recaro Aircraft Seating in Schwäbisch Hall, Recaro Child Safety (child car seats) in Marktleugast, and Recaro Home (Relax Chair Furniture Collection) in Kaiserslautern.

To date, Hendrik Ockenga has held a series of senior managerial positions in the areas of marketing, communications, and sales – most recently with the automotive companies Porsche and Lotus. “The Recaro brand stands for fascinating, ergonomic design, and as a family-owned business, it embodies clearly defined values and modern entrepreneurship,” Ockenga emphasizes. “I’m really looking forward to acting as a communication bridge between these strengths.”
