More than 50 years of experience joins forces with more than 100 years of innovation
The railway industry is changing at an incredible speed, and RECARO Rail, formerly known as Growag, has been on the ball for more than 50 years now, providing state-of-the-art products and solutions to meet the high demands and tough quality standards of the railway industry.
After joining forces with the RECARO Group, Growag became RECARO Rail in September 2023. Merging Growag’s railway expertise and committed team with the innovative drive, ergonomic excellence and aviation standard technology of the worldwide renowned mobile seating specialists from RECARO. Both companies share very similar values while their competencies complement each other to become an even more successful player in the railway seating business and thus in the mobile seating sector in general.
Traditional roots meet international horizon
RECARO Rail remains a Polish company with a Polish team that has now access to extended development capacities, test facilities and design competence in the international network of the RECARO Group in order to serve an even more international market and clientele.
At the same time the company will stick to its railway roots focusing on what is applicable and adding what is suitable in order to lift railway seating onto a new level. Also in the new set-up flexibility will stay one of the main strength with the entire production still located in one place, providing an essential advantage in the uncompromising fight for quality, punctuality, and cost competitiveness.
